Women's Ministries

All women who attend First Church of God are members of Women’s Ministries. Its heartbeat is to enrich the spiritual life of women and promote friendships among each other.

Women’s Bible Studies are held fall through spring each Wednesday morning from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.  Join the new session starting September 12 in the Student Ministries Room 6202. Childcare is provided   An evening women’s study featuring Beth Moore on video, begins Wednesday, September 5, 6:00-8:30 p.m. in Room 121.  An identical class will be held on Sundays at 6:00 p.m. beginning September 9 in the Fireside Room.

Friendship Circles gather small groups of women together for fun and fellowship each month. Yearly events bring larger groups together – the Women’s Tea in the spring fills the multipurpose room with a crowd of beautiful women in florals and pastels. In the winter, the Women’s Retreat promises full days of inspiration and friendship. Before Thanksgiving, the popular Taste of the Holidays lures hundreds of women to sample a plate full of favorite holiday recipes that others have loving baked to share. Christmas time brings Gramma’s Bazaar, when vendors set up tables throughout the church to sell their handmade treasures. This event provides a major source of income for missions and outreach.

In service to other, Women’s Ministries helps at church weddings, memorial services and our Life Celebration Services.
