Pre-schoolers at Vancouver First Church of God are a burst of energy. They are encouraged in their curiosity and excited wonderment toward the world and the Lord. The Pre-school program uses a curriculum made to incite this curiosity in the heart of a pre-schooler. First Look gives children a first impression of their heavenly Father and the wonder of His love for each one of them. The curriculum keeps it simple and fun, repeating one basic truth about God all month long. First Look also helps children understand worship and introduces them to small group time. It encourages children to talk to God any time at any place.

The activities tickle all the senses making mastering the concepts a blast. Crazy fun activities to crafts to large group Bible story and worship time to small group Bible time, it’s all part of the plan to help a child believe three key things by the time he’s five years old:

God made me.

God loves me.

Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Our Pre-school program is available for both the 9:30 and 11:00 Sunday morning services. Children 2 years old to Kindergarten are welcome to join in our fun and friendly Sunday school. Our pre-school volunteers have all been carefully screened, and they consider it a joy to take care of your little one.

When you visit on a Sunday, please come to the Kids’ Check In kiosks located in Café Connection.  There you will be greeted by our friendly team of volunteers who can get your children securely checked in and escort you to their classes.
