High School Ministries

At VHS Ministries, our goal is to not settle in as a group, but rather stretch ourselves to be a ministry that seeks to love God and to love others. We want to worship God not only at Church, but each and ever day through our actions and lifestyles. We strive to know the truth about life and about how God intended it to be. We do these things by emphasizing four key values: Authenticity, Love, Humility/Service, and Evangelism.

VHS Sunday Mornings

Our Sunday morning service is basically a worship service that is designed for teenagers. Our worship and teaching styles are made to be appealing to high school teenagers. We push for student involvement in hopes to train the next generation of Church leaders.

VHS Wednesday Nights

On Wednesday nights, our goal is to get teenagers to connect with each other through games, discussions, and other forms of interaction. We want to build lasting relationships with Christ as well as each other so that we are not alone in living out our Christian walks of life.

SALT Days

Our SALT Days exist to give our teenagers the opportunity to serve our surrounding community. Once a month, we get together and do a service project around the Vancouver/Portland area. We can always teach students how to live, but SALT is our chance to actually go out and do it.
