Prayer Leader

Description:

  • Leads the class each Sunday in 5-10 minutes of prayer requests and prayer
  • Oversees class prayer chain utilizing both phone and E-mail where possible
  • Leads by example
  • Keeps a diary of answered prayers for the class and uses it to encourage faith

Requirements:

  • Is a growing disciple who has made Jesus his/her Lord
  • Is in agreement with church doctrinal statement and philosophy of ministry
  • Is proficient at follow-through and organization
  • Is very consistent
  • Has time to implement this ministry

Result:

  • God’s mighty power will be brought to focus on the needs and tasks of the class resulting in spiritual victory
  • The faith of the class will grow
  • Unbelievers will be brought to faith
  • The class will learn to pray without ceasing
