Study of Jesus’ Parables
Jesus told stories with a context readily understandable by his audience - but our understanding of them is many times similar to hearing a joke when we don’t get the punch line. Join a new study of his parables and the metaphors about God’s rule on earth in the person of Christ. Exploring first century context will help illuminate Jesus’ point and challenge you to align your values with his. Connection Point is an Adult Bible Fellowship class that is open to all adults and meets Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM in the Fireside Room.

VFCOG Community Garden is Open
Many garden spaces, east of the church parking lot, have been prepared and are now available for planting! Church members who wish to garden, or know people in the community who dream of a garden, can call Julie Murphy in the church office, 360.816.6904, to reserve your very own space. There are other volunteer opportunities for you to help with the gardens. Call Michael Murphy, 360.696.4572, to find out how. And no, it is not too late to plant your garden!

Our Prayer Room, located downstairs just inside the West entrance, is staffed on Sunday mornings from 10:30 - 11:30 AM with trained teams to pray with you for all your prayer needs.

Be A Blessing and Be Blessed!
We have many Senior Saints who are no longer able to attend services regularly due to health or mobility issues. They love the Lord and need the touch of their church family. Would you be willing to make a difference in just one life once a month? A conversation, a prayer, a smile can mean so much! Our “Next Connexions” ministry is ready to introduce you to a new friend, or maybe reintroduce you to an old one. As you bless that one life, you will be blessed even more. Call Lynn Peavey, 360.574.6078 or Pastor Bruce Hazel to make a meaningful connexion.
The Giving Closet Can Use Your Helping Hands
Volunteers are needed at The Giving Closet located at 2804 NE 65th Ave, Vancouver on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays from 1:00 - 5:00 PM. You can come help sort donations!
