Pastor Don and Lori Doe
We are excited to introduce to you our new Senior Pastor Don Doe and his wife Lori from Scottsdale, Arizona. Born and raised in California, Pastor Doe is a Warner graduate (BA in religion) who went on to earn his Master of Divinity degree from the Anderson School of Theology. Pastor Doe is considered to be one of the top preachers in the Church of God movement. He is known for his warm, humorous, relational style and ability to make the Scriptures relevant to our everyday lives.

He is also known for his love for people, his compassionate ability to shepherd a large flock and his strong leadership gifts. Pastor Don’s philosophy of ministry is best summed up by his own vision statement which says, “Through preaching, teaching, leading, and living by example, I’m committed to REACHING people for Christ, ROOTING them in spiritual growth and REALIZING them into personal ministry.”

The Doe Family
Pastor Don and wife Lori have successfully pastored two Arizona churches to record numbers over the past 22 years. They are both equally committed to the call to equip the saints and challenge believers to be a light to the community around them. All three of their grown children are committed to Christian service. Their son Jared is a youth pastor, their daughter Randee just finished a two year mission to Japan and their son Richard is a senior at Biola University in California.
A Little History
Pastor Doe attended Vancouver First Church while attending college at Warner Pacific in the early 70’s. He has warm memories of his time at First Church and the love he was shown while living so far away from home. He served on the board of Warner Pacific for 15 years, and now serves on the Church of God pension board. He is excited about our commitment to education through King’s Way Christian School. Along with education, Pastor Don loves all kinds of worship music and believes there is room in the local church for both contemporary and traditional services.
Welcome this wonderful couple to our church!
